REMEMBERING MIKE CROWE
It with great sadness that we are informing you of the unexpected passing of Mike Crowe, a resident of Lake Park Estates. The Board of Lake Park Community Association would like to express our condolences to his wife Debbie. Mike and Debbie frequently attended board meetings and contributed to the community in many ways. Mike grew up in Chicago and lived in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He founded Crowe Construction Management, a successful family business he retired from in 2021.

Remembering Gerry Bowman
Friends and neighbors, it is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our friend and neighbor, Gerry Bowman. Gerry passed peacefully on May 2nd; his beloved wife Pam was by his side. Due to severe drought conditions and declining water supplies, the Southwest Florida Water Management District has issued a Modified Phase III "Extreme" Water Shortage Order. BEWARE OF CRITTERS!
There has been an uptick in reported critter activity within Lake Park Estates, including raccoons, rats, possums, etc. Raccoons have been observed using pools as their personal bathrooms. STEPS TO REDUCE YOUR RISKS Do not overfill your garbage bin and keep lids securely shut. Consider the use of a bungee cord to keep the lid tight or put a weight on the lid. Annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade
Residents of Lake Side, Lake Park Estates, Lake Seminole Village and Wieker, dress up your golf carts to celebrate Christmas and join the Lake Side Community in the parade as we ride through the Lights of Lake Park Estates. When? Sunday, December 14th, starting at 6:30 PM Where? Rally at the corner of Lake Park Drive and 109th Ave. For those with no cart, keep an eye out as we pass through the neighborhood and cheer on the cart owners.

SPECIAL THANKS!
Lake Park Community Association would like to thank the following residents who volunteered their time and hard working efforts in trimming oak and palm tree branches from the trees at the entrance to Lake Park Estates, then hauling 800 pounds of brush to the County dump. Steve Maltinos, Brett and Parker Allmond, Jett Neuendank, Amy Maltinos and Allan Crispell. Steve also supplied the use of a cherry picker lift he had rented for putting up Christmas lights.

Annual Trolley Ride Event Canceled
Unfortunately, this year Lake Park Community Association was unable to reserve a trolley in December for our annual free Trolley Ride Event to view the Lights of Lake Park Estates. The trolleys were all booked months in advance. Next year we will attempt to resume this Holiday tradition. Our sincere apologies for those who were looking forward to the event.
