Lake Park Community Association would like to wish all our Jewish neighbors a very Happy Hanukkah as they celebrate the Festival of Lights.

Residents of Lake Side, Lake Park Estates, Lake Seminole Village and Wieker, dress up your golf carts to celebrate Christmas and join the Lake Side Community in the parade as we ride through the Lights of Lake Park Estates. When? Sunday, December 14th, starting at 6:30 PM Where? Rally at the corner of Lake Park Drive and 109th Ave. For those with no cart, keep an eye out as we pass through the neighborhood and cheer on the cart owners.

Lake Park Community Association would like to thank the following residents who volunteered their time and hard working efforts in trimming oak and palm tree branches from the trees at the entrance to Lake Park Estates, then hauling 800 pounds of brush to the County dump. Steve Maltinos, Brett and Parker Allmond, Jett Neuendank, Amy Maltinos and Allan Crispell. Steve also supplied the use of a cherry picker lift he had rented for putting up Christmas lights.

Lake Park Community Association wishes a Happy Veterans Day to all those who served. Thank you for your service!

Unfortunately, this year Lake Park Community Association was unable to reserve a trolley in December for our annual free Trolley Ride Event to view the Lights of Lake Park Estates. The trolleys were all booked months in advance. Next year we will attempt to resume this Holiday tradition. Our sincere apologies for those who were looking forward to the event.

Someone posing as a Pinellas County Sheriff's Officer calls and claims you or someone you may know has outstanding citations for failure to appear in court. The caller uses real Deputy names and uses a real Captain's name. The phone number on the caller ID is spoofing the PCSO non-emergency number. They ask for payment to satisfy the citation(s). They sound very convincing. If you encounter such a call, hang up and call the published number for the Pinellas County Sheriff's
